I’m Ginger;

a certified yoga teacher (hatha/vinyasa), breathwork coach, event coordinator and community cultivator. 

GRO Studios is my space for sharing my offerings and knowledge in those fields.

I’ve had the great pleasure of traveling and studying around the globe and now I’ve been called back to my homeland,

the United States, to share the gifts and tools to help you in your journey towards

peace, joy and self-realization. â€‹â€‹

Private yoga lessons

Let's embark on a very personal journey together through

one-on-one personalized lesson plans- perfect for beginners or for those that have injuries or special needs in the North Dallas area.

Each class will be tailored to fit your specific needs and goals and include hands-on adjustments to grow quickly in your yoga practice

Corporate yoga, movement or
breathwork journey

This offering is for apartment complexes, places of employment, community centers, etc. Bring more peace and overall wellness into your corporate environment with foundational tools to calm the mind and body. I tailor each session to the needs of the facility and the participants.

Yoga Asana via Zoom

Join me for my community yoga asana classes via zoom.

We meet 2 times per week. 

 

I offer a sliding scale to fit any budget and different levels of classes to meet you where you're at in your yoga journey.​

Why practice YOGA?

Yoga is called “The Science of Self- Realization”. During my studies, I learned that yoga is WAY more than just practicing the poses and is actually a path toward great peace and bliss. It offers moral guidelines, support, tools and ancient wisdom that continues to translate beautifully- even in our ultra modern world. Yoga is not intended to be a “workout” although through challenging your body and practicing regularly it does have several positive side effects to your physicality. The true blessing that comes from yoga is unlocking new pathways that guide you to live your most genuine life. Let’s be clear, I am not promising yoga will magically make all of your problems disappear, but you will be armed with tools and strength to take on your life’s challenges with more grace, patience, understanding and, dare I say, LEVITY!

Is YOGA a religion?

This is a common misconception. Yoga is NOT a religion. Yoga is an ancient practice of tapping into the universal presence that exists in all of us. In fact, I venture so much as to say, yoga will make you a better ___(fill in your own religion- if you have one)___. Yoga aims to “yoke” your body, mind and soul, allowing you to reflect and reveal the infinite in a way that only you can.

What you need for our zoom community classes:

  1. First and most importantly, an open mind! Please meet me on your mat with NO expectations- After all Buddha does say “Expectations are the root of all suffering.” Just come prepared to have a good time moving your body, quieting the mind and nourishing the soul!

  2. Decent wifi to stream the entire hour and the Zoom app.

  3. A quiet space that you feel comfortable in.

What you don’t need:

  1. There is no need to activate your camera so don’t worry about what your space looks like or your computer/camera’s technology.

  2. A fancy yoga mat or outfit. Traditionally, yoga was practiced in pajamas or regular loose fitting clothes- so I encourage you to do the same! If you are going to commit to a yoga practice- please do not go spend a lot of money on a mat. I have links to a cloth foldable one, if you’re a traveler, like myself. And whatever you do- PLEASE do not buy a cork yoga mat! 

  3. To already be flexible or even athletic. Again, yoga is not intended to be a workout, but will physically challenge you in different ways. I offer variations for each level and the main workout will be to your sharpen your mental focus. I promise we will not be tying ourselves in pretzels or any of the super outrageous poses you see the “Instagram yogis” doing.
